Got this shot while we were driving along the Bussell Highway just outside of Margaret River, I spotted him out the side of the car as we drove past, swooping in to land on the fence. We pulled up and I crept up as close as I could along the fenceline.
Wow, it’s been a long time since the last post, I’ve been pretty busy the last couple of months with getting married and now just getting back from my honeymoon. Thankfully after spending a couple of weeks down in the beautiful South West region of WA, I’ve ended up with some lovely pictures. So much to see down there, so little time. So over the next few days as I’m sorting through all the happy snaps, landscapes and bird photos, I’ll be uploading a few more.
Firstly, one of my favourites. A gorgeous female Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo taken in Denmark.

If I had to pick a shot of the day, would have to be this one hands down.
Taken out at Horrocks Beach, We spent a while watching the Ospreys flying around and waited patiently for a good ‘In Flight’ shot, but I think I preferred it when the baby popped it’s head up. It looks as though the parents are really listening to what it is saying.
I have to give thanks to Leigh for inspiring me to get up early to go take this shot. Was beautiful watching the sun come up.
