Spotted this while in Fremantle on the weekend, it grabbed my attention because I just absolutely love Flight of the Conchords, but the texture of this grungy urban landscape was too interesting to pass up taking a photo.
This was taken the same afternoon as the previous shot, about less than an hour earlier. The colour grabbed my attention as we were driving along, pulled up, jumped out of the car and fired off a few shots handheld. Love that dusky pink and having the moon right there just made it.
Princess Royal Harbour, Albany WA.
I’m still going through all the photos I took from my recent trip South, this one was taken not long after sunset, as the moon was rising in the sky. I was trying to get the moonlight reflecting back in the little pools of water. It was very muddy where I was standing, but I think it was worth it. Albany City at night.
Found this little leafless orchid while down south, came across it in a sandy gravel pit where most of the surrounding area had been burnt out. I love going out orchid hunting when the season is right, often find some amazing flowers, they can be so small, delicate and colourful, yet you almost always find them it what seems like the harshest of areas.
