Spotted this while in Fremantle on the weekend, it grabbed my attention because I just absolutely love Flight of the Conchords, but the texture of this grungy urban landscape was too interesting to pass up taking a photo.

Tonight’s sunset. Had some massive crazy clouds running through the sky like ribbons. Beautiful.

The view out the back of our place tonight, I was enjoying the sunset, watching the clouds light up as I was cooking a BBQ.

Trekked down to the beach last night, just as the sun was setting. Was quite nice to enjoy it as we had a thick cloud cover for most of the day.

Here’s one creature that certainly enjoys the rain. Lots of water is guaranteed to bring out the snails. This particular one was making it’s way up a concrete pillar at the front of the house.

A little bit of abstract. Had some interesting cloud coverage yesterday, with great rain clouds rolling in overhead, snapped these couple of images before the sky turned a solid grey.

We’re getting a nice spot of rain today, this was the view out behind our place this morning. The rain clouds hanging above the ranges, golden sunrise peering through underneath.

This was taken the same afternoon as the previous shot, about less than an hour earlier. The colour grabbed my attention as we were driving along, pulled up, jumped out of the car and fired off a few shots handheld. Love that dusky pink and having the moon right there just made it.

I’m still going through all the photos I took from my recent trip South, this one was taken not long after sunset, as the moon was rising in the sky. I was trying to get the moonlight reflecting back in the little pools of water. It was very muddy where I was standing, but I think it was worth it. Albany City at night.

The Old Forts in Albany are an historical landmark, originally built in the late 1800′s they formed the first federal defence of Australia. It’s amazing to walk around and explore these old defences nestled in amongst the large boulders above Mt Clarence.

This image could tell a thousand stories, depending what you read into it. I thought it was one of those ‘lucky’ shot moments.

Found this little leafless orchid while down south, came across it in a sandy gravel pit where most of the surrounding area had been burnt out. I love going out orchid hunting when the season is right, often find some amazing flowers, they can be so small, delicate and colourful, yet you almost always find them it what seems like the harshest of areas.
